How to Stay Motivated

by Bibigul Amirova

In our latest interviews I interview Anita Webster, a dedicated Iyengar yoga practitioner of 25 years. Anita discusses the Iyengar Yoga Vancouver community, her respect for Iyengar yoga teachers, the practice itself, and the unique opportunities that being part of the community have brought: taking workshops with international teachers, helping out as a student in teacher assessments, and being invited to be on the board of directors of our association. She shares ways to stay motivated and practice at home.

Anita talks about life on and off the mat. She volunteers as Board Chair of Dixon Transition Society, an organization that houses women and children who are fleeing violence at home.
