Announcing new studio on the North Shore

by Christine Rondeau

A longstanding yoga teacher in the Vancouver community, Corrie Vorlaufer recently had some devastating news regarding her studio. Despair wasn’t an option and instead Corrie embraced change and found a new location. Below is her announcement.

This has been a most eventful month! My Landlord gave me notice on October 3rd that the more than a century old building which had been my yoga home for close on 10 years had been sold. Catastrophe!

Then it dawned on me that I had become too complacent and this was the way the universe was giving me a nudge.

The right place for a new yoga studio was there waiting to be discovered. Contacted everyone who might know someone who might know something.

We found the right place and knew it as soon as we walked in. It had been a meditation centre before and had a peaceful vibe. We were given the keys Oct 20th and then the move. Oh! the move…

How many props can one collect over time. The rope walls will have to wait until the Christmas holidays to be reinstalled.

What a journey! Everything works out for the best.
