Sharon is a movement coach and has been teaching people how to exercise better since 2001. A friend asked her to join an Iyengar Yoga class in 2008 and she fell in love right away. She enrolled in Iyengar yoga teacher training in 2018, and after 3 years of study and teaching, received her certification in 2022.
Sharon has been practicing Iyengar Yoga consistently and has gained a deep appreciation for the focus on precise alignment, mobility, stability, and holding poses longer. Sharon continues to work as a movement coach privately and teaches Iyengar Yoga at various community centres in Vancouver.
