Baya Hammoudi has been studying Iyengar yoga since 1990. She travels regularly to the Iyengar Yoga Institute to study directly with the Iyengar family in Pune, India, the origin of Iyengar yoga. Baya also continues to study with Faeq Biria and Corine Biria based in Paris and for the last few years has attended their summer intensive in France.
Baya teaches with clarity and precision in both English and French. After many years of practice, studies and teaching, Baya is committed to pass on the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar with integrity, authenticity and sincerity. Baya has a fully equipped Iyengar Yoga studio in Vancouver in the heart of Kitsilano.
