Balancing the Breath – A Summer Pranayama Series

Join Iyengar yoga instructor, Linda Shevloff, Wednesday mornings from 10:30-12:00. Starting July 8 until August 12 in the dance studio at the Kitsilano community centre.

Pranayama, the yogic art of breathing, leads to control of the emotions which in turn brings stability, concentration and mental poise – qualities sadly lacking in our lives today. Pranayama is the bridge which helps the student of yoga to cross from the realm of pure physical development to that of the spirit and forms a crucial stage in the journey towards self-realisation.
